Student Council

The Student Council is at the forefront of all student activities and serves as the liaison between students and administration, faculty, alumni, and the community.  The Council promotes the welfare of students, organizes social activities and athletics, and advances a professional attitude toward the College and optometry.

Student Council Orientation Committee work with the Admissions Office to conduct activities to welcome new entering classes.

Student Council also sends representatives to various conventions and meetings.  Some of the more visible expenditures are social events, intramurals, and the Iris (Yearbook).  Less visible are contributions to tutoring, guest lectures, Student Optometric Service to Humanity (SOSH) and other projects.
