Education:

B.S., Villanova University 
B.S., O.D., Pennsylvania College of Optometry 
 
Dr. Pagani earned a Bachelor of Science degree in biology from Villanova University. She was a member of the AED honor society and a Dean's list student. Additionally, Dr. Pagani has postgraduate training in Radiation Hazards and Control from Rutgers University. She received her Doctor of Optometry degree from the Pennsylvania College of Optometry, where she received the Clinical Excellence Award in Module 4. Dr. Pagani completed a residency in Primary Care Optometry at The Eye Institute of the Pennsylvania College of Optometry.

Role at PCO: 

Currently, Dr. Pagani holds a faculty position at the Pennsylvania College of Optometry where she is an assistant professor of optometry. She is coordinator of the Clinical Medicine lecture and laboratory course for third year students in Optometry.

Professional honors and activities: 

Dr. Pagani is actively involved in lecturing in the International Studies Program and Ocular Therapy course in the prescription and administration of pharmaceutical agents for therapeutic purposes offered by the Pennsylvania College of Optometry. Her area of expertise is in the eye and systemic disease. She has lectured extensively on this area throughout the United States and in Europe. Dr. Pagani has also published articles and chapters in the optometric literature.

Clinical Specialty: 

Dr. Pagani holds the position of chief of primary care in Module 3. Her clinical teaching responsibilities include supervision of patient care by optometry students at The Eye Institute.

Activities: 

Dr. Pagani holds a position at the Nemours Health Clinic in Wilmington, Delaware, where she is a consultant and Low vision specialist. Additionally, she is a member of the clinic's quality assurance committee.

Professional Associations: 

Dr. Pagani is a member of the American Academy of Optometry, American Optometric Association and the Pennsylvania Optometric Association. She is a certified American Heart Association cardio-pulmonary resuscitation instructor.
