Role at PCO:

Dr. Dabrowski joined the staff of the PCO School of Audiology in September 2004, as the Director of the Pennsylvania Ear Institute (PEI). In her role as director of PEI, Dr. Dabrowski supervises and instructs students both in the pre-clinical labs and at the PEI, as they learn to perform comprehensive diagnostic and rehabilitative procedures. Additionally, under Dr. Dabrowski’s instruction, students are exposed to practical knowledge relating to the business of audiology: office management protocols, coding, billing and third party reimbursement procedures, preparing students for future success in their own private practices.

Professional Honors and Activities:

Dr. Dabrowski has been providing patient care in Southeastern Pennsylvania for  more than twenty years. She has been the director of several practices, including Philadelphia’s Elwyn Institute, Plastic Surgical ENT Associates and Providence Hearing Aid Center, with her primary focus in the area of hearing aid instrumentation.

Since 2001, Dr. Dabrowski has been a member of the Board of Directors of the Scott Haug Foundation. Elected as Vice-President in 2006 and as President of the Foundation in 2007, Dr. Dabrowski assists in the organization of the annual Scott Haug Hill Country Audiology Retreat. This much anticipated Texas conference attracts audiologists from around the country for a unique mix of education and professional fellowship.

Dr. Dabrowski also held the position of Charter Treasurer of the Elkins Park Lions Club from 2004 to 2006.

Dr. Dabrowski became a published author and illustrator in 2006, when Siemens Hearing Instruments chose to provide her children’s book, Annie Hears Her World to all pediatric patients. Following publication of her book, Dr. Dabrowski participated in a national Siemens-sponsored media event informing parents of the importance of regular hearing screenings and the effect of mild hearing loss on educational performance.
