As a Doctor of Audiology you will join the ranks of the approximately 12,000 practicing Audiologists in the U.S. who stand at the center of the team providing advanced hearing care. You will evaluate, diagnose and treat hearing and balance disorders, prescribe and fit prosthetic devices to patients with hearing impairment, direct rehabilitative programs for the hearing and balance impaired, design and direct programs to identify newborn babies with hearing impairment, assist children with learning disabilities, central auditory processing disorders through various auditory training strategies, and provide identification, prevention, evaluation and treatment of a variety of hearing disorders.
