One of the many benefits the PCO School of Audiology offers is the emphasis on small-group and problem-based learning coupled with access to core program faculty.  We have the most technologically, up-to-date pre-clinical laboratories to teach the assessment of balance, electrophysiology and hearing designed to prepare students for patient care activities in our clinical facility, the Pennsylvania Ear Institute.  Most importantly, our outstanding faculty shares a sincere commitment to educating students, to providing access to the best possible patient care practices and ensuring that you will learn to not only care for, but to care about your patients.

Education in the biomedical sciences is an essential foundation for a meaningful understanding of cellular, systemic, and organ functions of human systems.  PCO's curriculum not only provides this biomedical emphasis, but also integrates it with patient care activities. Additionally, the program emphasize the importance of communicating effectively with other health care providers to enhance the overall quality of health care our patients receive.  The combination of outstanding faculty, superb laboratory and clinical facilities, along with a unique curriculum all create a nurturing environment for you to pursue and achieve excellence.

Pennsylvania College of Optometry's clinical doctoral audiology program holds accreditation from the Council of Academic Accreditation (CAA) through the American Speech-Language-Hearing Association.
