This office is headed by the Dean of Student Affairs and has the overall responsibility for: communicating and representing administrative policy to the student body; acting as ombudsman for the student; explaining student opinion when it appears that student views are being over-looked; and providing and administering the following support functions: recruitment, admissions, minority student affairs, registration and records, counseling, housing, the Health and Fitness Center and student activities and organizations. The Office of Student Affairs functions as the first point of contact for student concerns other than those that are strictly academic.
